As a deliverable of the Jean Monnet Module,
we have published a Policy Brief!
The present policy brief provides for a summary of selected topics addressed within the Jean Monnet Module AIR-CARE, that are of interests and at the core of debates and discussion especially at the EU legislative level, with the aim of highlighting critical issues and providing some recommendations.
The selected topics are the following:

air passengers’ rights (notions, remedies, private international law, public enforcement)

competition policies (pricing algorithms, state aid policy, public service obligations, territorial continuity)

sustainability (ReFuelEU Aviation, legal basis, sustainable aviation fuels)

privacy, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity (Advanced Passenger Information, Passenger Name Record, GDPR, facial recognition, cyber-attacks)
